Angles as turns

Turn, open and measure

Taps, doors, the hands of a clock and you, spinning on one spot: all of them make turns. In this chapter you will turn an arrow by quarter, half and full turns, open two straws and a paper fan to make angles, and measure turns on a paper circle and a clock.

Think about it

The minute hand moves from 12 to 3. How much of a full turn has it made?
